Thailand’s Chatchapong Nasa has booked his place in the 2026 Scottish Open after coming through the qualifying rounds in Leicester.

The Thai professional defeated Allan Taylor 4–1 in his opening qualifier before edging past Louis Heathcote 4–3 in a close second-round contest.

The successful qualifying run sends Nasa through to the Scottish Open main event, where he is set to face top seed Chris Wakelin in the opening round.

The result marks another encouraging step for the Thai player as he continues to build experience on the professional circuit.

For Thailand, Nasa’s qualification adds another Southeast Asian presence to the main stages of a major ranking event.
