Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay appointed to lead the FAM Integrity Committee

Former Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay has been appointed Chairman of the Football Association of Malaysia’s Integrity Committee.

The appointment will run for the remainder of FAM’s 2025–2029 term and was approved during the association’s latest Executive Committee meeting at Wisma FAM.

Ayob Khan will be assisted by Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, Director-General of the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency, who has been named deputy chairman.

FAM president Datuk Ab Ghani Hassan said experienced individuals from outside the Executive Committee were selected for several key roles based on their credibility and expertise, with the aim of strengthening the association’s management and governance.

Ayob Khan retired from the Royal Malaysia Police earlier this year after a 35-year career in the force.
