WST PLAY Expands to TV as Snooker Streaming Subscribers Surge 400%

WST PLAY is expanding onto television screens with the launch of new apps for Android TV and Amazon Fire TV, giving snooker fans another way to watch live and on-demand action.

World Snooker Tour says the streaming platform has grown rapidly since launching in 2025, with its subscriber base increasing by 400% and users now coming from 154 countries.

The expansion also brings more than 3,000 hours of additional archive footage, featuring classic matches and memorable moments from snooker history.

WST PLAY offers live qualifying coverage and, in territories where no television broadcaster holds rights to an event, access to major tournaments including the World Championship, UK Championship and Masters.

A Samsung Smart TV app is also planned as WST continues to expand the platform’s reach.
