Seeing Double: Lando Norris Unveils Lifelike Madame Tussauds Waxwork
Reigning Formula 1 champion Lando Norris has finally come face-to-face with his very first Madame Tussauds London wax figure. The stunningly realistic creation is set to go on public display just in time for the McLaren star’s home race, the British Grand Prix.
The 26-year-old driver, who spectacularly clinched his maiden F1 drivers’ championship title at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, spent months collaborating with the renowned Baker Street artists to perfect the waxwork. To guarantee absolute authenticity, Norris generously donated one of his actual race suits to be displayed alongside an exact replica of his 2025 season helmet.
“Seeing the figure finished and standing next to it is pretty surreal – it really is like looking at another version of me,” Norris shared after the reveal. Praising the artists for nailing the lifelike details, he added, “I also wanted to donate one of my race suits so fans can see up close something I actually wear when I’m racing. I can’t wait for everyone to come and see it in London this summer.”
The Norris figure will take pride of place in the attraction’s Culture Capital zone, standing alongside fellow F1 legend Lewis Hamilton and global sporting icons such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Mo Salah, and Kylian Mbappe. To celebrate the unveiling, Madame Tussauds London is also hosting a special competition, offering fans a chance to win a signed LN4 Grandstand Dad Cap.
